The very first time I ever laid eyes on her, the USS DAVID R. RAY (DD-971), a Spruance class destroyer, I was in the Philippines, and the ship was going to be pulling up along with, our submarine tender ship, I was currently on. I was standing outside on deck, raiding the rails, and I might see two officers standing amidships, viewing their destroyer, getting bound to us.

When you are inquired about nuclear weapons, you are always expected to say, I can neither verify, or reject, nuclear weapons. Some days, when you go to take over your watch, you are informed, deadly force is not licensed, and sometimes, you were told, lethal force is authorized. I never ever had to encounter any bad scenario while I was in the Navy. It was basically party main for me.

One time, when we took our ship to Hong Kong, we would need to travel, through the South China Sea, which is an insane part of the ocean. OK, this is probably valued by ladies the a lot of. The ship has a complete hair salon that provides hair styling, pedicures, facials, massages and manicures.
